&nbsp; Paul Wilting erforscht das poetische Potenzial der Erinnerung mit den Mitteln der Malerei. Aus einer fortwährend geführten Fragmentsammlung entstehen Bildwerke, die sich nicht eindeutig lesen lassen, sondern zwischen den Ebenen changieren: zwischen Malerei und Objekt, digitalem Ursprung und physischer Materialität, zwischen autobiografischem Echo und kollektiver Imagination. Sie fragen nach dem Verhältnis einzelner Bildzeichen zueinander und zum Bildganzen: Wo beginnt eine Ordnung und wo zerbricht sie? &nbsp; Gemeinsam formen sie einen offenen malerischen Kosmos. &nbsp; &nbsp; Paul Wilting studierte an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig und schloss 2022 als Meisterschüler von Prof. Christoph Ruckhäberle ab. Er lebt und arbeitet in Leipzig. &nbsp; &nbsp; Paul Wilting explores the poetic potential of memory through the medium of painting. &nbsp; &nbsp; From an ever-growing archive of fragments, works emerge that do not yield a single clear reading, but instead shift between layers: between painting and object, digital origin and physical materiality, between autobiographical echo and collective imagination. They inquire into the relationship between individual visual signs and the image as a whole: Where does order begin, and where does it break apart? Together, they form an open painterly cosmos. &nbsp; &nbsp; Paul Wilting studied at the Academy of Visual Arts and graduated in 2022 as a master student of Prof. Christoph Ruckhäberle.
